The Outer Cover
The cover of the Boomer Camouflage bed is made from tough waterproof Cordura. A fabric of this quality is rarely used in dog beds.
The pattern is a practical colour so it does not show the dirt.
This pet bed cover is easy to keep clean. You can just allow any dirt to dry and then vacuum it off or it can easily be wiped over with a sponge or damp cloth. If necessary it can also be machine washed at 30 degrees using a proper cleaner designed for waterproof fabrics, but most of the time it is not necessary, especially if you use an over cover.
Like other quality waterproof products it cannot be washed in detergent otherwise its waterproof qualities can be affected.
The Fastening
The cover closes on the base with a quality commercial heavyweight zip that is protected by a generous flap to discourage chewing. This version of the bed would suit a dog that is likely to try to burrow into a pillowcase style cover.
The Filling
The foam filling is 5cm (2") thick top grade upholstery foam, which is entirely fire retardant.
Foam of this density and quality is an ideal filling as it keeps it shape and does not go flat for years under normal use. It is rare to see such a good quality filling used in a dog bed.

This bed is ideal to be used on its own but you can buy separate machine washable outer covers in a strong polyester or fleece fabric with a choice of patterns to slip over the bed for easy maintenance and to enable you to keep your pet’s bed clean and hygenic at all times.

This cover is also available with a pillowcase and Velcro fastening.
