This bed is very practical and easy to keep clean. It also gives your pet very good support and protects him from draughts.

Material on the Base and Sides

The whole outside cover of the bed is made from ballistic nylon - no cheap substitute fabrics have been used on the base of the bed.

Ballistic nylon is very strong and tough - it is used as the fabric for the outside of bulletproof vests.

The fabric is flexible, fairly shiny and feels quite soft.

The Filling

The bed is filled with a dense ball fibre filling which is channel filled to ensure even distribution. The sides of the bed are approximately 5" or more thick and are packed nice and tight to provide strong support.

Cleaning

This quality fabric can easily be wiped over with a sponge as it cleans easily. Dirt dries up and simply falls off and can be vacuumed up. You can also hose the bed off and the cushion can be machine washed at 30 degrees using a proper cleaner designed for waterproof fabrics. It should not be washed in detergent otherwise, its waterproof qualities can be affected.

This bed is very versatile. You can use it on its own, especially when your pet is wet and dirty, or just put a soft warm blanket on the top when he has dried off.
