Outer Fabric
100% heavyweight polyester. Machine washable time and time again at 30 degrees.
The outside of the fabric looks and feels like real animal fur. It is modern stylish, hardwearing and attractive.
The overall pattern is inlaid with a wavy pattern through the weave of the fabric.
Fastening
This version of the bed has a pillowcase fastening. It is also available with a zip fastening.
There is nothing to break, chew or clog with the pillow case cover. The inside flap is generously sized to keep the filling in place.
Filling
These pet beds do not go flat and limp. We use 2" thick quality foam that keeps it shape and density. Foam is a more expensive product to buy initially than hollow fibre (duvet material) but it is a far superior pet bed filling and saves you money long term as it should last your pet for years.
The standard filling in the extra small and small beds is white polyurethane foam (33/125). The 33 identifies the density i.e. 33kg per metre and the 125 identifies the Newton Value i.e. the firmness of the foam.
We use white foam in the small beds as standard otherwise, in our opinion, the bed may feel too firm for a small pet whose body weight is relatively low. If you would prefer the blue upholstery foam in your small bed, at the same price, please ensure you choose this option when ordering the bed.
The blue upholstery quality foam used as standard in the medium, large and extra large beds is 33/190 and is therefore firmer. It feels like the foam used in your sofa.
The foam is fire retardant and passes BS 5852.
Inner waterproof cover
A removable PU nylon waterproof cover with a Velcro fastening fits over the filling to keep it dry and clean, which helps to prevent the build up of doggy smells.

The beds are available in 5 sizes. The measurements are for the outer cover laid flat and the finished size of the bed will therefore be reduced by about 2" in length and width due to the depth of the foam:

These beds are really practical. They do not go flat and they make it very easy for you to keep your pet’s bed clean and hygienic. Just vacuum the hairs off and machine wash the outer cover when necessary.
You can completely change the look of the bed by changing the outer cover as we make this cover in several fabrics with more to be introduced very soon.
