The Cover

This cover is made of tough ballistic nylon (the type used to make bullet proof vests). The cover is both overlocked and sewn for strength.

The fabric is flexible, fairly shiny and feels quite soft. It closes with a quality zip that goes along one side of the bed so it is easy to remove the filling so the cover can be washed. The zip is set in so it is almost totally concealed.

This quality cover can be wiped over by hand as it cleans easily. It can be machine washed at 30 degrees using a proper cleaner designed for quality waterproof fabrics. It cannot be washed in detergent otherwise its waterproof qualities will be affected.

Comment

The colour is a medium bright green and does not photograph well, so it looks as if the colour varies. The last photo is probably the most accurate.

Do not worry about the creases shown in the photos. These drop out fairly quickly with use.

These covers are used in the Bronte Glen hollow fibre beds and also the Saucy Brown 2" foam beds.

If your dog chews then a zip is not ideal. Instead, you might prefer a hardwearing Saucy Brown own brand Boomer bed in brown or a Saucy Brown Cordura bed, in either brown or combat green, as both come with either a pillowcase or Velcro fastening.
