The Outer Cover

This quality dog bed has a waterproof outer cover in an attractive blue check that is made from 1200 denier polypropylene nylon that is so tough it is used to make horse rugs. The cover is both overlocked and sewn for strength.

The fabric is flexible, fairly shiny and feels quite soft. It closes with quality poppers that go along one side of the bed so it is easy to remove the filling so the cover can be washed. The small bed has 3 poppers, the medium has 4 and the large has 6.

The outer cover can easily be wiped over by hand as it cleans easily. Like other quality waterproof products it can be machine washed at 30 degrees provided you use a proper cleaner designed for waterproof fabrics. It cannot be washed in detergent otherwise its waterproof qualities can be affected over a periof of time.

The Filling

The filling is hollow fibre and feels like a thick duvet, providing a springy soft bed. The fibre is contained in its own sealed cotton cover and is fitted into a separate cover that is cotton on the top and waterproof nylon on the bottom. This inner cover closes with ties so it can be removed for washing if necessary.

The filling and the internal cover can both be machine washed at 30 degrees.

Approximate Sizes and Weights

The sizes given are for the bed covers when they are laid flat. When the filling is in place the overall size of the bed is reduced by a few inches.

Comment

This bed is ideal if your pet likes a nice soft thick springy bed. It is very well made and looks attractive. It is easy to keep clean as each part of the bed can be washed separately.
